Hwarang' Bellflower Barrier Moisturizing Cream is a deeply nourishing and strengthening face cream that balances hydration and radiance. This cream is particularly suitable for sensitive, dry and normal skin and is packed with effective ingredients that protect and strengthen the skin's barrier, such as ceramides, panthenol, ectoin and polyglutamic acid (PGA).

More than fifty percent of the skin's barrier consists of ceramides, and the natural ceramide can deteriorate both in quantity and quality due to harsh environmental conditions - in such cases, a ceramide-based skin care routine can help rebuild the damaged barrier.

Ceramides work great together with other ingredients that support skin recovery and moisture balance, such as glycerin, panthenol, ectoin, polyglutamic acid, squalane and niacinamide (all of which are in this cream!).

Bellflower Barrier Cream contains 1% panthenol, also known as vitamin B5, which attracts moisture and binds it on the surface of the skin. It also helps to soothe irritated and damaged skin. Thanks to the properties of panthenol, regular use can improve skin texture and elasticity.

PGA, or polyglutamic acid (Poly-Glutamic Acid), is a peptide that occurs naturally in soy-based food through a fermentation process. PGA is an excellent moisture binder and can bind up to 5000 times its own weight in water. Its deep moisturizing effect helps maintain the skin's water balance and thus strengthens the skin's barrier.

Ectoine is a powerful moisture-binding amino acid that microorganisms naturally produce to protect their cells in extreme environments, such as deserts, salt lakes and hot springs, making it useful for the skin's moisture needs as well. In addition, ectoine has natural anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe sensitive and irritated skin.

Bellflower Barrier Cream creates a soothing layer of moisture on the skin upon application and helps lock in moisture with the help of effective active ingredients, providing a perfect balance between moisturizing and nourishing properties.

Face cream is an important last step in moisturizing the skin. Add after other skin care products, in the morning before sunscreen.
