Sunscreen

In Korean sunscreens, you can find both chemical (organic) and physical (inorganic / mineral-based) sunscreen filters. Often, to get the best results and protection, Korean sunscreens have combined both =hybrid sunscreens. In this way, a beautiful end result is achieved that somewhat covers the skin's pores, as well as a light and fresh composition.

Looking for a Korean body sunscreen? Every sun protection product in our selection is also suitable for use on the body, and some are available in slightly larger sizes (e.g. 50 ml). The reason there are only a few Korean body sunscreens on the market is that Koreans primarily protect their bodies from the sun with clothing and even SPF umbrellas.

Sunscreen for the face

Chemical sunscreens are usually very light and pleasant to use, and they do not leave a white cast on the skin.

Physical sunscreens are not absorbed by the skin and are therefore often richer in consistency. They may also be better suited for sensitive skin than chemical ones.

Hybrid compositions are typical for Korean sunscreens, which provide a beautiful, slightly covering result on the skin with a light and fresh formulation.

Korean sunscreen

Korean sunscreen is not a concept without reason, but there is certainly a suitable and pleasant product for everyone among these. Remember that no matter which sunscreen is your favorite, the most important thing is to apply enough of it (about a teaspoon on the face) and also remember to reapply more cream during the day. 💕

SPF indicates how well the product protects against the sun's UVB rays, but Korean sunscreens also have the PA rating, which stands for "Protection Grade of UVA." It is a scale that measures the protection level of a sunscreen against UVA rays.

UVA rays are longer than UVB and cause less burning, but they have a significant effect on skin aging, which is partly caused by UV radiation. The best protection against UV radiation is achieved when you choose both a high SPF and PA factor.

PA+: weak UVA protection
PA++: moderate UVA protection
PA+++: good UVA protection
PA++++: excellent UVA protection

Looking for a Korean sunscreen for the body? Every sunscreen in our range is also suitable for use on the body's skin, and some come in slightly larger product sizes. But there are very few Korean SPF products on the market made specifically for the body. Why? Because Koreans protect their faces not only with sunscreen but also with large hats and sunglasses. The body's skin is primarily protected with clothing and even parasols, so sunscreen is not applied as diligently on the body's skin. And if any part of the body is exposed to the sun, use the same cream or, for example, a sunscreen stick, as for the face.
